Folly View Primary School in Faringdon, part of Cambrian Learning Trust, is celebrating after being rated ‘Good’ in all areas in its latest Ofsted inspection, which took place in May 2025.
The inspectors praised the school as a “warm community” where pupils are happy, well-supported and confident in their learning. The report highlights strong leadership, high expectations and a clear commitment to pupils’ personal development and well-being.
Among the many positives, Ofsted noted:
“The school is a warm community where pupils are cared for. Pupils are respectful and value each other.”
“Pupils see that the school goes to great lengths to support their well-being and happiness.”
“Pupils expect to achieve well. They have confidence in their abilities and enjoy their learning.”
“Pupils learn how to treat their peers and adults with respect… They display impeccable manners and behave well.”
Executive Headteacher Joseph Rubba said:
“We are proud of the dedication and hard work demonstrated by staff, pupils, and the wider school community. The Ofsted report reflects many areas of strength, as well as constructive feedback that we are already using to inform our ongoing improvement plans. We remain committed to providing the highest quality education for all our pupils and are grateful to our families and communities for their continued support.”
Head of School Mrs Jo Baird added:
“Our pupils were brilliant ambassadors throughout the inspection, and we’re incredibly proud of how they represented the school. This result is a testament to the passion and commitment of our staff and the support of our parents and carers. We are pleased with the outcome, but we’re also ambitious and excited about where we go next.”
