Watchfield Primary School is proud to announce that it has been awarded the National Nurturing Schools Award by nurtureuk, following a rigorous assessment process last week. The award recognises the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the wellbeing and development of its pupils through a whole-school approach.
A wonderful evening of celebration for our Cambrian Learning Trust Character & Citizenship Platinum Award winners on Thursday 10th Juy, and honoured that the High Sheriff of Oxfordshire John May, CVO OBE DL was with us to present this year’s Platinum Award winners with their certificates and badges.
On Thursday 10th July we held our end of year presentations for the 2024-2025 cohort of Aspiring Leaders.
This was a celebration of the work and commitment they have shown all year towards their professional development. The programme consists of termly face-to-face focussed training/development sessions, and networking opportunities in between. Each Leader spoke for five minutes, showcasing the impact the programme has had on their subject/area of leadership.
