For the last 12 years, Anthony has been an active leader in the local school community, having been Chair and Vice Chair of a local governing body, a Member of the local MAT and long-standing Chair of the Resources Committee.  He has a track record of working closely with school leadership teams, staff and other key stakeholders to collectively define and implement long term strategic plans through challenge, strategic direction and strong decision-making.  Anthony was Vice Chair of the Trust for several years prior to taking on the role of Chair in 2023.  Anthony believes in building our education provision for the future through establishing a strong community of strategic governance underpinned by two-way dialogue, and openness to accept challenge and a collective desire to constantly improve.  He is also a strong advocate of collaboration and partnership with other schools and MATs to share best practice and bring fresh insights into the Trust to improve outcomes for all.
